As parents, our greatest desire for our children is that they develop a vibrant relationship with the Lord; and secondly, to see them developed and positioned to have the greatest opportunities possible. At Rev5, it’s our primary purpose to lead students into a passionate relationship with the Lord, and then to train them in the character and skills that give them the foundations for life.
Why should I consider leadership training for my child? Ivy league schools across the country are encouraging their incoming students to take a “gap year” to invest in intentional growth and self-awareness. Gap year students typically make better school selections, have better study habits, and make clearer more focused decisions through this developmental window of their lives. Learn more about why your child should enroll in a gap year program.
What is the mission of Revolution5? The mission of Revolution5 is to disciple, train and develop college and twenty-somethings to love God, love people and lead with purpose and persuasion in every sphere of society.
What will my student be learning? Our school is broken up into four learning modules: family, church, workplace and government. Each module builds on the next to help form a solid identity in Christ, a competence to influence others in any environment and character and courage to live and lead like Christ.
What does a day at Rev5 look like? The crux of Rev5 is our community-life. Each day we work out together, eat together, learn together and go on adventures together. Your student will become intimately known and integrated into our community, just as a family knows, loves and serves one another.
What kind of boundaries are in place? There is no alcohol or drugs allowed during the Rev5 program (this includes visits home). Because we highly value the time of our students and require their full concentration, no dating and other “friendlationships” are also not allowed. We also limit the media and entertainment intake to protect the minds and hearts of our students.
What other parents have to say
Julie E. Smith
Parent of Alumni, Wes Dunham and Adelie Messer.
The experience was life changing to my son and to our whole family as we watched him walk out his journey.
The staff is so amazing & committed to pouring all that they are & have to their students & they will walk through life experiences with them to see that they become & fulfill all that Christ has for them.
My son entered Rev5 as a boy not knowing who he was and I can say with full confidence that he left as a man knowing who he is in Christ and understanding the call & purpose of his life.
I highly recommend Rev5 to everyone who wants to grow in their relationship with Christ & to learn how to live a totally surrendered life & desire to walk in your calling to the will & purpose of the kingdom of God.
I completely trust Rev5 & the staff with my son, and I have full trust that they are faithful & trustworthy to love, care for, disciple & support your child in every way.
With sincere gratitude...
